Established in 2001 by the United Nations (UN), the World Urban Forum (WUF11) is a global conference on sustainable urbanisation that brings together a selection of professionals in the field, including representatives of national and local governments, academics, business owners, urban planners, industry thought leaders and community connectors. Co-organized with Poland’s Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, the Municipal Office of Katowice, WUF11 is set to bring together both private and public sectors to enter a discussion on how to transform our cities for a better urban future - one of the goals Spatial Experience holds close to its heart.
As a representative of the private sector, Spatial Experience was invited to participate in the open discourse on the rapid urbanisation and its impact on communities during two different panels.
Please, note that these sessions will be held in Polish.

How is the need for closeness, support, care and a sense of belonging reflected in approaches to shaping cities and what role does the sharing economy model play in this? This session will explore these themes and showcase examples and best practices from the international scene.
Wednesday, 30th of June, 2022; 10:45 - 11:15
CINIBA - The Scientific Information Centre and Academic Library (MetroLab space)
Bart Sasim, Spatial Experience’s CEO, will talk about co-creating inclusive cities by diving into the needs we have at different life stages and how to implement those needs from the early stages of product development.
The ultimate goal of our participation in such events is to develop a more concrete collaboration between the private and public sectors, which would be based not only on the financial attributes, but also expertise-related (i.e. knowledge, networks). Discussing topics relevant to the industry from different points of view brings clarity on our steps in shaping the shared living sector moving forward.
